Why we started Ugenie...

In 2016, the noise on digital channels was becoming increasingly loud (and it still is getting louder by the second). This makes it harder for smaller businesses to reach their target audiences effectively. If you are a coach, service provider, professional body or if you run a business network, you have a lot of content to share with your customers, so you will understand this issue.

Using tools like Facebook, Slack or Whatsapp is not ideal to share curated content without being distracted with the "noise" on social media. You also face great limitations such as uncertainty due to algorithm and policy changes or lack of visibility, your customers just don't see your curated content.

So my husband and I, burdened by this problem, decided to create a ready-made mobile platform which can provide smaller businesses an easy way to target personalised content to customers or employees via a tailored, private and branded mobile solution.

We pulled a team together, did our research and built the platform from the ground.

So Ugenie was born.

I'm a non-tech chick, but I’m proudly leading a tech company because my desire is to help business owner like you, thrive and grow by providing an effective way to access their audience, with the resources they need.
