How to Add a Member | Ugenie | uHubs: Leader Guide

When you have attracted a new member or subscriber to your community, adding them to your hub is a stress-free process with Ugenie. And, once a member has left, removing them from your hub is the same.

Here we will show you how to invite new members to join your community. You can assign member types, groups and tailored messages to your new member. These features will help you maintain brand consistency from the offset and make a great first impression!

Enter: Ugenie’s Member Management

  1. Log on as an Administrator

  2. The default landing page is Dashboard

  3. Find the Navigation Menu on the left-hand side

  4. Click Members or your branded name for the section

Click Add Member

Member Type Assign one of your pre-made member types to the new member(s). Comma Separated Emails Enter the email(s) of the new member(s). Use comma separation for multiple invites. Groups Assign the new member(s) to your pre-made groups. Message Write a personalised welcome message to your new member(s).

Update Template Set your message as default for all future invites. Footer for New Users View your message for new users about how to join your community. Footer for Registered Users View your message for registered users about how to join your community. Support Email Add your support email. Changes will change the current email in the footers.

Click Invite

# Invitation Sent’ will appear at top of your screen as confirmation. The new member(s) will now officially be invited.

Once accepted, the member’s profile will be available for other members to view.
